Services

Sundays

Our Sunday services are open to all, and you will receive a warm welcome whether you have been to church before, or are exploring the Christian faith for the first time.

Both our Sunday services are also followed by tea and coffee, which for us is a really important way of getting to know each other.

10.00 am: Traditional
with Family Communion and hymns with organ.
There is a corner for parents and babies and children leave for their own activities.
Once a month we have an All-Age Communion.
6pm: Informal
with modern worship, and Holy Communion on the second Sunday of each month.
The last Sunday of the month is a healing service.

 Midweek

We are learning as a church how to be whole-life disciples and followers of Jesus.

To help us with this we have various times where we gather together outside of normal Sunday services to meet, pray, worship and share life together.

Revive Prayers: This is our monthly prayer meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, 19:00-21:30 (starting with food between 7pm and 7.30pm). We gather together for food, followed by worship and a time of extended prayer for each other, the church and community.

Men’s Prayers and Women’s Prayers: These take place on the fourth Saturday of every month at 10:00.  Women meet at the St James the Less Centre for breakfast and prayer together.  The men meet at the local Pimlico Cafe on Tachbrook Street and then move to the Centre for prayer.

Home Groups: We currently have 5 home groups and encourage all members to be part of one.  These meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Here members of the church gather for food, fellowship and Bible study together. Please contact the Church Office for more details.

Prayers for the Persecuted Church: Each Thursday from 12:30 to 13:30 in the St James the Less Centre there is an opportunity to pray for persecuted Christians.
