‘Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand

The son of man you have raised up for yourself.

Then we will not turn away from you,

Revive us and we will call on your name.

Restore us, O Lord God Almighty,

Make your face shine upon us,

That we may be saved.’ (Psalm 80: 17-19)

St James the Less was founded 150 years ago to serve the people who live, work and pass through Pimlico, and to speak with them about Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, and its incredible consequences. We believe that this is just as important to God today as it was then. We want to be like ‘living stones’ (1 Peter 2:5). We really want to see God’s kingdom around us, and his name sung, shouted and praised as Lord of this city.

Revive gives us a space away from the mess of London life to soak in God’s presence, to worship him, to say that we’re sorry for what we’ve done wrong and to ask for his guidance on how we can do it better. It’s a chance to ask for his blessing, to give thanks for being part of this amazing journey, and to pray for our community.

Everyone is very welcome. We meet at 7 in the church (please feel free to bring your supper!). Dates for this term (Winter 2009- 2010) are:
