Women's Ministry Presents... BEad Creative Party with Claire Daniel, Saturday 21st November, 7.30 pm
A fun, social evening for the women of SJTL. Come and have a go at designing and making your own jewellery from a gorgeous selection of beads, pendants, and threads at affordable prices. There is a standard range of designs to copy and a number of ready-made pieces also available for inspiration, and to buy. However, BEad creative parties are a great place to explore your creativity, and Claire is always on hand to help you to put together some unique pieces for yourself or as christmas gifts. There's absolutely no pressure to buy anything, and refreshments and good company are also provided (the women of SJTL expect nothing less!), but please feel free to bring a bottle!
BEad Creative began supporting its founder, Chris Clarke, in her work with the Saltmine trust in Bulgaria. The company was also responsible for starting several fair trade jewellery projects, helping Bulgarians receiving aid to earn an income. These projects are now self-sustaing, and BEad Creative instead donates part of its profits to help support the Blue House Day Centre and Care Centre, in Sliven.
