Prayer

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, with prayer and thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ (Philippians 4:6)

God’s word repeatedly reminds us to turn to him in prayer and assures us that when we seek him with all our heart and soul, there he’ll be (Deuteronomy 4:29).
At SJTL, we believe in persistent, urgent, joyful prayer and give thanks to God for his promise to hear us.

REVIVE PRAYERS
Our church prayer meeting, Revive, takes place on the second Tuesday of the month.

PAUSE FOR PRAYER
Every Wednesday we meet in the church for Pause for Prayer, which is followed by a simple lunch.

MEN’S PRAYERS
Men’s Prayers happen at 7am at church on Tuesdays, followed by breakfast at the local greasy spoon cafe.

WOMEN’S PRAYERS
Women’s prayers happen at 7am at the vicarage, followed by a continental breakfast.
