Day of Prayer – Sunday 15th May


This week the Archbishops of Canterbury and York are inviting every church in England to join a week of prayer under the theme of Thy Kingdom Come

At St James the Less the church is open all week from 9am to 5pm with prayer stations in the prayer chapel.

On Sunday 15th May – Pentecost – we are having a Day of Prayer which people are invited to join whenever they are able.  The planned schedule of prayer is below.  Do come and join us if you can!

12.30 Praying for us a family – kingdom people under Father God

–      Pray for leaders within the church and those carrying authority within the church family.


1pm Praying for each other: our individual prayer lives – to come alive to God – to see God’s Kingdom in our lives


1.30 Lunch


2pm PrayerWalk – Walking around our community praying for God’s Kingdom to come


3pm Worship and Calling on Holy Spirit in the light of the Prayer Walk


3.30 Praying that we will be Prophetic in our Outreach, soaking prayer then praying for healing
