The EU Referendum – Remain or Leave?: Christian Voices (Friday 20th May, 19.30)

EU_UK_flags_LATESTA chance to hear three Christians speak and answer your questions on the EU and the choice we face at the referendum.

Refreshments from 7pm with the event from 7.30 to 9.30 on Friday 20th May

Andrew Goddard is Assistant Minister at St James the Less and Senior Research Fellow at the Kirby Laing Institute for Christian Ethics.  He will speak on the subject of his Grove booklet “The EU Referendum: How Should We Decide?”

Ben Ryan is Researcher at Theos, the think tank working in the area of religion, politics and society and author of  their recent report “A Soul for the Union”. He will speak in favour of remaining in the EU.

Giles Fraser, is priest-in-charge at St Mary’s Newington in south London.  He writes regularly in the Guardian, is a regular contributor on TV and radio including The Moral Maze and is co-Chair of Christians for BritainHe will speak in favour of leaving the EU.

Following their presentations there will be opportunity for questions and debate.

The event will end by 21.30.  Refreshments will be served before the meeting from 19.00.
