Sundays

At our 10:30 service there is a corner for parents and babies and older children leave for their own activities in the St James the Less Centre. These provide an interactive Sunday morning group learning basic principles of who God is and who we are in God. Craft, drama, songs, prayer, messy play, stories, games and fun!

Twice a month we have an All-Age Communion.
Messy Church
We now run a Messy Church every other month for children and their families. The next one is on Wednesday 26th February at 5pm.
At our last Messy Church all the crafts and games were based around the theme of the Lost Sheep parable, and during the Celebration the children and parents had it all tied together as they heard the good news that Jesus never abandons us. We made sheep cup cakes, pop-up sheep craft with the Bible verse on, played crazy messy games with shaving foam and balloons and pinned the tail on the poor old sheep!
Over 100 children & adults came and joined in the fun, especially singing and learning the actions to ‘My Lighthouse!’ We finished with a big meal of jacket potatoes, cake & hot chocolate. Yum! Thank you once again to our amazing team of volunteers who worked so hard to put the event on. Do join us in giving thanks to God for another wonderful evening and in praying for God to continue to be at work in the hearts and minds of all those who came.
